We have had at least 4 batches of ducks born this summer in the pond by our neighborhood. They are very friendly as the whole 'hood' feeds them. The literally surround you and will eat out of your hand. Jax squeals with delight every time we go feed them.
how lovely!!! I had a pair of ducklings when I was a little child. unfortunately, one duckling died after he fell off from our 2nd floor balcony, the other then cried out day and night, looking for his pal. he was so sad. he soon died of broken heart... they were the only 2 pets I have ever had. I always remeber them, the way they walked quacked and how close they folloed each other... and how my brother & I fed them...
