Abi's 8th Birthday Bash

Splish Splash, we had a pool party for Abi's birthday.  Except for a rain delay, everyone had a great time.   The theme was beachballs, beachballs, and more beachballs.

               Turned out we had a double party.  Abi's party was on Amy's birthday.

Amy gave Abi balloons which she had to pop to get out a surprise in each one.  $$$$$$$$$  Abi thought this was a hoot as did the rest of the party.

Notice how Abi is wearing one shoe and one slipper.  This pic was taken back in December when she had her toe infection.  Talk about delayed posting.  I had actually lost the picture and it just reappeared after the move.  Usually things disappear in moves, this time,  the opposite.  Yeah!

6th of July parade

Abi, Jax and I headed up to Lake Limestone to do some b day preparations for Abi's upcoming party.  While there, the enighborhood was hosting a 4th of July parade.  All were invited to attend either as spectators or participants.  We choose to decorate the golf cart and get in on the action.  Oh, what fun we had.  But boy did we also learn a few things.  These people take the parade seriously!  Several 4 wheelers and trucks had a blow up pool in the back of their bed or in their flat bed trailer.  It was a  water fight palooza between the participants and the spectators with their water hoses.

Galveston Beach

A few weeks ago, Abi, Jax and I crashed Stacy's beach vacation with her family.  Oh, what fun we had. 

 Abi was so ezcited to see her future husband again.

 Meanwhile, back at the San Luis, everyone enjoyed the water slide.  And since there were no trips to the hospital this year, ahem, Keller, I'd say, we had a successful trip. 

 Snuggled up with Kase--again. 

Stacy and crew headed home early the next day, but we decided to hit the beach one more time for good family fun..

 Surfer Jax.  Can't believe I have nmot purchased boogie boards before now.  The kids loved riding the waves.
