Last fall, Eric had the opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi to attend a military trade show. I was cool with everything until I found out they flew in and out over Iraq.

Spring Break Adventures
Adventure #1--visiting our new pool!
I think I saw a catfish swimming in it.............
Adventure #2--Sky High
Julie and I took the kids to an indoor trampoline jump facility. Kids jump from one tramp to the other and they even have them on the walls. Loved watching Kenlie do all her back flips, handsprings, etc. She still has all that gymnastics skill inside her.
Adventrue #3--Dentist
Found out that Abi has two loose teeth instead of just one. She is one happy camper.
Jax finally let us get pictures of his teeth. The past two visits he has cried and refused to participate.
Forever happy and cooperative!
Jax even laid back in the chair and was cooperative for his cleaning and examinations. Two visits ago, he got himself so worked up that he threw up all over me. Oh what progress we have made.
Adventure #4--Houston Zoo
The Mighty Lion was Super Relaxed!
Adventure #5--Packing

New Sleep Arrangements
Because I have disassembled the kids beds in preparation for our move, and packed all their room decor and bed linens, Abi and Jax are now floor mates in his room.

Learning......
I have really been working on making the kids more self sufficient. This weekend, Abi practices her sandwich making skills. The other week, Jax learned to make waffles in the toaster.

Ummmm Really????? part 2
So, back on December 8th, I posted that we received a note similar to this indicating that Abi had run the mile in 15.08 and was the fastest girl. If these times hold true, then in 3 months, Abi has taken 2 minutes off her mile. And remember how I said she runs like FiBi----anyhow, who knows, Maybe we have a track star in the making......
LEGACY OF AN ADOPTED CHILD
LEGACY OF AN ADOPTED CHILD
(Author Unknown)
Once there were two women
Who never knew each other.
One you do not remember,
The other you call mother.
Two different lives
Shaped to make yours one.
One became your guiding star,
The other became your sun.
The first gave you life
And the second taught you to live it.
The first gave you a need for love
And the second was there to give it.
One gave you a nationality,
The other gave you a name.
One gave you a seed of talent,
The other gave you an aim.
One gave you emotions,
The other calmed your fears.
One saw your first sweet smile,
The other dried your tears.
One gave you up --
It was all that she could do.
The other prayed for a child
And God led her straight to you.
And now you ask me
Through your tears,
The age-old question
Through the years:
Heredity or environment
Which are you the product of?
Neither, my darling -- neither,
(Author Unknown)

The kids LOVE IT when Eric wraps then up in towels and throws them on the bed. When he wraps them up together it is called a Double Sausage and it brings squeels of delight.
