Sprinkles

My kids love to eat deviled eggs that Grammy has made. As it is an easy food for Jax to eat, I thought I would make them a batch. Unfortunately, I did not have any paprika to make them pretty, so I used sprinkles instead. I hope they still taste good. Wait, what doesn't taste good with sprinkles on it?????

Go Texan Day

It's rodeo time in Houston which means that both Abi and Jax's school and most other schools in the area encourage their students to wear western wear and teach them dances such as 'The Chicken Dance', the 'Hokey Pokey', and 'Electric Slide'. Don't we have the cutest little cowgirl and cowboy!

Or should I say 'Independent Boy'. The little wooden captains chair was Eric's when he was a boy. Jax drags it all over the house to get what he needs. Nothing slows him down.

Preparing for the big 'V'

Abi and Jax spent the evening tonight preparing Valentines for all of their classmates. Abi choose Rapunzel and Jax, much to our dismay choose Power Rangers. We had been letting Jax watch Power Rangers on TV, but have decided that it is much too violent, so for the past week, Power Rangers, for some reason, has not been on TV......... He has not figured out the DVR thing yet--thank goodness.

Baby Vivi

This weekend we had the extreme pleasure of meeting Jax and Abi's third cousin Vivienne, or Vi Vi as our family is calling her. Mom and Dad, Izzy and Ted were just glowing as new parents. Thanks so much for coming all the way from California to share your new bundle of joy with all of us. This is the first baby Abi has actually held. She was a bit apprehensive about it, and as soon as the pic was over, she was pushing her away. Oh well.
