Spring Break Adventure #3

SB Adventure #3 took us to Bouncin Bears with Abi's best friend Maame. These two were in kindergarten together and have continued to be great friends through first grade. Unfortunately, due to a new school being built and rezoning, Abi will be moving to the new school next year and Maame will continue at the old school. So sad for these two, but happy for the time they have spent together.

Growing Up

A few weeks ago, Mal, Abi and I decided to drive pass teh house that Julie and I grew up in. Unfortunately it has not aged gracefully. There were no shrubs, flowers or anything. It looked terrible. Years ago, it really was a great house--4 bedrooms, living, formal dining, breakfast, etc. Boo......

Spring Break Adventure #1

Hi Ho Hi Ho, It's off to Grandma's we go! Abi, Jax and I headed to the thriving metropolis of Taylor, Texas to visit with G-Ma/ Great G-Ma Kreidel. At 91, she gets around so easily and was willing to go on adventure after adventure with us--as there is no slowing down for a 4 and 6 year old. We went out to the farm (no pics) where we explored plants, read books, visited with family and enjoyed the sunshine. We went to the park, began learning how to play straight dominoes, which rapidly turned into building bridges, castles, and making snakes, fed the ducks, playing on the jungle gym and just had a good ole time.

Thanks G-Ma for a wonderful 2 days. We all cherish these times with you!

Happy Birthday Sis

Last weekend we surprised my sister, Julie, with a 40th party. After planning since January, we pulled it off. She had not a clue. I think we were as excited as she was. Unfortunatly, mom's camera acted up, so this is the only clear pic I have.

Tooth #3

After promosing me for a year that I could pull tooth #3, last night, Abi walks in and hands me the tooth. Really, are you kidding me.......... I had actually tried to pull it numerous times, but could not get my fingers/ nails around it. We even tried tying a string around it, but little miss wiggle worm was having nothing of that. After dropping the stinkin tooth twice in the carpet, it finally made it's way to the tooth fairy pillow.

The tooth fairy thanked Abi for her tooth by leaving her $6.00 and a new pair of ear-rings. Feather ear-rings----WOW.
